So for $155 CDN I now have an external 500GB hard drive. Commence the mass data migration. Combined I'm really close to 1 TB. If you include all the devices in my room (including my server), I've just barely passed the 1TB mark weighing in at about ~1031 GB. Woo. Hopefully around Christmas I'll get another 500GB or 750GB if prices drop more or sales are good :).
Ah, but it does seem my laptop Nika has kicked it. Her electrical system is fried, and she just keeps randomly powering down. Tis a shame, she was barely over 2 years old. Oh well, I think I'll hold off on buying another laptop until prices on ones with Intel GMA 965 video cards drop a bit more. They seem to rate in performance somewhere between an Nvidia 7400 and 7600. Decent.
In the mean time I'll guess I'll be doing my at school coding on my PDA, and I still have the notes half written up for getting Linux on the IPaq...
