So the newest (~x86) version of Seahorse (Gnome keyring manager) has nautilus plugins, so now from nautilus you can encrypt files easy as pie. That's damn nice.
Also discovered Wesnoth which is in portage. A fun game to easily get addicted to. So I tossed it on my laptop and will probably work my way through that during hte next school semester. Woo.
Also, the gaim-encryption plugin is pretty cool. You can set it to broadcast encryption capability and auto use it when talking to some one else who supports it. You can also set it to auto encrypt once an encrypted message has been recieved. Pretty fun and handy.
And I tossed gamin onto my laptop which has gentoo sources thus inotify already. Works great.
I've been having a software research day and it's been fun. Seems Linux sata support is progressing. In the future there are some nice power managment features that will probably miss 2.6.13 but might make 2.6.14. So that'll be nice as I suspect that's my big power sink right now on my laptop. So maybe by christmas-ish I'll get the gift of a bit longer battery life. Woo.
